Colleen Tuxworth, Principal of Cultural Retail, has over twenty years retail experience, with extensive experience in museum retail management over the past decade. Her strengths include the capacity for business analysis and planning, and the ability to manage the many facets of specialised operations within a publicly funded institution. Colleen has practical knowledge of the cultural sensitivities and protocols of museums, galleries and heritage sites, and understands the interpretive and operational processes unique to such institutions.

Colleen has previously held the following positions:

 Retail Manager: Queensland Museum

 Retail Manger: Museum Victoria, responsible for the Melbourne Museum Shop, Immigration Museum Shop and Scienceworks Shop

 Retail Manager: Melbourne Museum

 Shop Manager: Museum of Sydney

 Exhibition Shop Manager: Australian Museum (Sydney)

Colleen has also been an Executive Member of the Museum Shops Association of Australia between 2003 and 2008 and held the position of Vice-president for three years. In this role she provided advice and information on all aspects of retail management to MSAA members.
